Serph and Sera from Digital Devil Saga. I had a difficult time drawing in this style, but I'd like to practice more with the other characters in the near future.
Got a little lazy with Sera's button-clasp thingies, and her arm is too long. I'll be adjusting that later though. Also my lineart always looks like I had a seizure while drawing. Need to stop adding the same line six times over.
Sketch done in pencil, color in PS. Textures are from CGTextures. Critiques are welcome.
Thank you! These guys are the main characters, and what initially attracted me to the game was the art style. It resembles Yoshitoshi ABe's art, but it's animated like Zelda Windwaker. Pretty neat game.
There's still some things that need work, like Sera's arm and those clasps, and I'd like to recolor her uniform, but I'm glad the background is okay. I couldn't decide on anything!
The colouring and those little details of the characters, costumes, and background are very neat! *thumbs up* You did very well on the shading and making them GLOW~
The lines in this one look alright to me. Perhaps if you use different colours for lines those are touched by very bright light, they might look softer and more blended to the whole atmosphere
I really appreciate the advice, and I'll put it to some use this weekend. The lighting had been bugging me for the longest time, and I think you're right about those too dark lines.

As for me, I'm kinda stressed at the moment since I just graduated, totally jobless, and it's quite difficult to find a place to continue for master study > ,, < ;; But I'M DOING MY BEST!
